This project brings basic healthcare services directly to people who cannot afford medical treatment or travel long distances to hospitals. Many individuals in underserved communities delay or completely avoid care due to cost, distance, or lack of awareness, which often leads to worsening health conditions.
The desk opens in the hamlet. Families give their names, and a sevak notes who needs a checkup first.
The team checks, explains the result in the language of the block, and writes a referral when the camp cannot finish the care.
Medicines for that day are handed over before the team leaves, and a sevak keeps the names that need a follow-up.
